How to choose a lithium battery charger?

1. For 12v series battery, we recommend use 14.6V charger(14.2V-14.6V), with charging current ≤ battery’s BMS.
2. For 24v series battery, we recommend use 29.2V charger(28.4V-29.2V), with charging current ≤ battery’s BMS.
3. For 51.2V series battery, we recommend use 58.4V charger(56.8V-58.4V), with charging current ≤ battery’s BMS.

Note: Please use the special charger for LiFePO4 battery to charge. It's not recommended to charge a LiFePO4 battery with the charger designed for lead-acid batteries

What is the maximum number of batteries that can be connected in series or parallel?

1. Our 12V batteries can connect up to 4 in series or 4 in parallel, allowing for a total of 16 batteries to be connected as 4 in series and 4 in parallel.
2. Our 24V batteries can connect up to 2 in series or 4 in parallel, allowing for a total of 8 batteries to be connected as 2 in series and 4 in parallel.
3. Our 51.2V batteries can connect up to 4 in parallel, allowing for a total of 4 batteries to be connected as 4 in parallel.

Please refer to the instruction manual for specific series and parallel connections.

What is the battery's operating temperature?

Our battery's ideal operating temperature for discharging is between -20°C (-4°F) and 60°C (140°F), and for charging it is between 0°C (32°F) and 50°C (122°F).

What is the maximum continuous charging / discharging current of the battery?

This is determined by the battery's built-in BMS.
For example, if a battery has a built-in 100A BMS, then its maximum continuous charge/discharge current is 100A.

Can it be used as a starting battery?

No. SunhooPower LiFePO4 batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage.
